Overview: This position is responsible for providing hospitable, courteous, and efficient service to customers. Duties include evaluating and ensuring product quality and selection, developing daily and weekly menus, and assisting manager in coaching, mentoring, and leading staff to accomplish department and personal goals. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting in leading and maintaining the department in a manner that is consistent with the company's mission of excellence in service, selection, and quality.
Day in the Life:
Location: Primarily deli kitchen, service counter, and sales floor.
What to Expect: We pride ourselves on providing our customers with convenient, healthy, and trend-forward meal solutions. You will provide expertise in creative merchandising, global product offerings, as well as maintaining a positive work environment for department staff and creating sensational shopping experiences for our customers. You will have the opportunity to work with vendors to incorporate seasonal and specialty selections into featured menu offerings. In addition, you will assist the department manager in reviewing financial performance and identifying opportunities for financial and overall department improvements.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates have at least two years deli or food service experience and the desire and ability to create meaningful and memorable moments for our customers and staff.
