Overview: This position is responsible for managing and directing all aspects of the retail environment resulting in consistent and exceptional customer service, product excellence, employee engagement, and achievement of operational performance goals. Duties include coaching, mentoring, and leading staff to accomplish store and personal goals in addition to cultivating a highly informed and engaged team able to deliver on the company's brand of service. In addition, this position is responsible for monitoring departments to ensure food safety requirements, product quality standards, and merchandising objectives are successfully met.

Day in the Life:

Location: Primarily sales floor, office space, in addition to any and all areas of the store.

You will have the opportunity to ensure a safe environment is maintained for all customers and employees, effective communication occurs at all levels, and internal and external resources are utilized to address and maintain building security and safety. You will also be responsible for assisting in the development of annual budgets for your location including sales, labor, profits, and expense objectives. In addition, you will gain expertise in acting as an ambassador of the company at community and corporate events.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates have a bachelor's degree in management, related field, or equivalent experience, seven or more years of experience in the retail or grocery industry, and the ability to create meaningful and memorable moments for our customers and staff.
