Deli Assistant Manager
Overview: This position is responsible for providing hospitable, courteous, and efficient service to customers. Duties include assisting customers with deli purchases, maintaining cleanliness of the department, and assisting manager in coaching, mentoring, and leading staff to accomplish department and personal goals. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting in leading and maintaining the department in a manner that is consistent with the company's mission of excellence in service, selection, and quality.
Day in the Life:
Location: Primarily deli kitchen, service counter, and sales floor

You will gain expertise in creative merchandising, global product offerings, as well as maintaining a positive work environment for department staff and creating sensational shopping experiences for our customers. You will have the opportunity to ensure safety and sanitation policies and department presentation and quality expectations are met. In addition, you will assist the department manager in reviewing financial performance and identifying opportunities for financial and overall department service improvements.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates have at least two years deli or food service experience and the desire and ability to create meaningful and memorable moments for our customers and staff.
