Overview: This position is responsible for providing hospitable, courteous, and efficient service to customers. Duties include assisting customers with specialty cheese purchases, managing cheese inventory, and creating enticing product displays and sampling assortments. In addition, this position is responsible for establishing and maintaining our company as a specialty cheese headquarters through collaborating with other departments on marketing and demonstration ideas as well as educating customers on our wide selection of specialty cheese.
Day in the Life:
Location: Primarily cheese counter, sales floor, and deli back-room.
What to Expect: We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a variety of local and international cheese offerings. In addition, our cheese counters act as a destination for event planning and food pairing professional suggestions. You will gain expertise in creative merchandising, global product offerings, as well as creating a sensational shopping experience for our customers. You will also have the opportunity to work with local vendors, represent our company at community events, and continue your education and training in the area of cheese.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates have at least one year experience in food service and the desire and ability to create meaningful and memorable moments for our customers. .
